Premier Account Benefits

As a PayPal Premier account holder, you can:
  • Send money for FREE
  • Accept unlimited credit card and bank account payments for a low fee
  • Use special tools for sellers
  • Receive exclusive customer service hotline help 7 days a week
  • Sign-up for PayPal's Debit card
  • Request mass payments

Sending Payments

Use your PayPal account to purchase goods or services, split a dinner bill or just give a gift for a birthday or anniversary. Simply log in to your PayPal account and click the Send Payments tab. You can send money using your PayPal balance, bank account, or credit card. Payments can be made in U.S. Dollars, Euros, and 22 other currencies.

Use your PayPal account to shop online:
  • Auctions - pay for auction items you've won.

 

Accepting Payments with PayPal

When someone sends you money with PayPal, the funds automatically appear in your PayPal balance. Keep the money in your PayPal account, withdraw it to a bank account, or use it to make a purchase online.


 

Important Information for Sellers

PayPal offers a variety of convenient tools to help you manage your business:

  • Automatic Logos - Turn on PayPal Automatic Logos for your auction listings and make payments easier for buyers.
  • PayPal Website Payments - Accept credit card payments directly on your website. Use PayPal Website Payments buttons for Buy Now Button sales, Donations, Subscriptions and Recurring Payments, or PayPal Shopping Cart sales.
  • PayPal Shops - Join the directory of websites that accept PayPal. Registration for PayPal Shops is free and gives you exposure to millions of PayPal customers.

To use these and other helpful seller tools, just go to the Auction Tools and Merchant Services tabs after logging in.

Get Verified - For security reasons, new accounts may have sending and withdrawal limits until they become Verified. When you become Verified by adding a credit card and completing Expanded Use enrollment, your sending and withdrawal limits will be removed. Learn more

Security - Don't forget to update the business information in your Profile. The information you provide helps PayPal ensure the safety and security of the payment network and helps us comply with International Anti-Money Laundering regulations.

Withdrawals - All non-U.S. members may withdraw funds to a U.S. bank account. Members in the following countries may withdraw funds to a local bank account: Australia, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Ireland, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, the Netherlands, Norway, Singapore, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom. Fees - Receiving fees are assessed at the time of the transaction. When you receive a payment in your account, we will deduct the fee. The fee amount appears in your transaction history in the "Fee" column. It is free to send money with PayPal.

A withdrawal fee will be assessed when you withdraw funds to your local bank account.

To see the current fees, click on the "Fees" link at the bottom of the PayPal homepage.

Refunds - You can refund a payment to your customer within the first 60 days of the transaction. The refund link can be found on the Transaction Details page. Just click on the Details link of the transaction in the History tab.
 

Managing Your Account

Funding Options - Add new funding options, such as debit or credit cards, to your PayPal account in the Profile page of your PayPal account.

Withdrawals - Withdraw funds from your PayPal account to a U.S. bank account, a local bank account, or a card depending on your country or region.

Account Information - Add or update account information, such as your password, email address, mailing address, or credit cards from your Profile.

Transaction History - To view past transactions, go to the History subtab. You can view the details of a transaction by clicking on its Details link.

Changing Preferences - PayPal gives you choices in the types of payments and notifications you receive. You can modify your preferences from the Payment Receiving Preferences page of your Profile.
