January 4, 2011 Global Academy Updates   In This Issue: Scheduled Academy Connection Downtime January 7, 2011 Take the "Is IT for You?" Challenge Scheduled Academy Connection Downtime January 7, 2011 Starting on January 7, 2011, Cisco Networking Academy will be upgrading its data center infrastructure. This change will help Cisco in continuing to give you excellent services and support.   During the upgrade, Academy Connection and all Academy Connection services will be unavailable. We will be offline starting at 5 p.m. PST (01:00 GMT) on Friday, January 7. Academy Connection will be available again on Monday, January 10, at 5 p.m. PST  (01:00 GMT).    Please make arrangements so that our downtime affects your course delivery and assessment activities as little as possible. We appreciate your understanding! Take the "Is IT for You?" Challenge Learning@Cisco has just released the Is IT for You Challenge. Take this fun quiz to see how you rate in innovation and problem solving. You'll get a sense of the type of skills that networking professionals need to be successful. Plus, you'll receive feedback on how to develop these important skills. In addition to the Challenge, you're invited to access games, research real-life job listings, and learn more about the demand for IT networking professionals.
